NAVIRIS named as new naval Joint Venture
Naval Group and Fincantieri have announced that the 50/50 owned joint venture formed between the two companies will be called NAVIRIS.
The joint venture’s official naming is a positive step forward for the collaboration, which was announced in June.
The alliance will enable Fincantieri and Naval Group to enhance their ability to better serve the French and Italian navies, capture new export contracts, develop new technologies and, ultimately, to improve the competitiveness of the naval sector of both countries.
The incorporation of the joint venture is expected before the end of the year.
