Milipol Paris 2017: Zodiac Milpro showcases latest Hurricane variant
Zodiac Milpro is presenting its latest custom-built Hurricane ZH-940 rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) at the MILIPOL internal security exhibition near Paris.
The example showcased is one of two such craft ordered in 2016, which are to be delivered in December 2017 to the French Directorate of Maritime Affairs (DAM), for operations from Bayonne and Brest.
Julien Bouet, of Zodiac Milpro, explained to Shephard that the new craft offers several improvements over the larger rigid-hull vessels used by the DAM, mainly a lower operating cost and greater speed.
