IDEF 2017: MiLGEM corvettes for Pakistan
Turkey is likely to seal an export contract for four National Ship (MiLGEM) corvettes to Pakistan.
An agreement was signed at IDEF on 10 May between Turkish shipbuilder STM and Pakistan's Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works (KSEW), which would be the company that would build some of the MiLGEM vessels.
A spokesperson from STM said that the deal is about 90% complete and SSM announced that a second agreement on the ships is expected in Pakistan on 30 June. So it looks like the Pakistan Navy found the funding from somewhere after almost a decade of looking for a
