Raytheon to support Dual Band Decoy programme
Raytheon has been awarded a $33 million contract to support the US Navy’s Dual Band Decoy programme, the US Department of Defense announced on 13 June.
The company will conduct a demonstration of existing technologies (DET) in support of the programe.
This DET will demonstrate expanded capabilities of the Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasures AN/ALE-55 Fiber Optic Towed Decoy and AN/ALE-50 Advanced Airborne Expendable Decoy used on the F/A-18E/F aircraft.
Work is expected to be complete in September 2021.
