EW Europe 2018: Chemring launches Viper EW system upgrade
Chemring Technology Solutions has launched its latest EW software solution, VIPER, a mission support and information system for EW operators.
The new upgrade uses geofencing technology to enable operators to focus on a specific geographic area and will be showcased for the first time at EW Europe.
Speaking to Shephard ahead of the event in Switzerland, Eric Herron, regional manager at Chemring explained how Viper ‘can take away even more of the burden from the operator’.
‘It can narrow your target list down by using geofencing, so you can look at very specific areas,’ he said.
