Defence Services Asia: Beretta showcases I-Protect monitoring system
Beretta Defense Technologies and Intellitronika have used the Defence Services Asia (DSA) exhibition to introduce an integrated weapon monitoring system to ASEAN customers.
Speaking to Shephard at the show, Beretta Defense Technologies spokesman Jarno Antonelli said the ‘I-Protect’ comprises a network-centric personnel protection system targeted at police and security services, which enables real-time tracking of weapon status, as well as field operative information.
‘So it’s a completely integrated system that enhances real-time communication between the operative and command HQ,’ Antonelli said.
