Adtech secures $4m deal with leading defense contractor
Adtech, a world leader in computer technology services through its division Adtech Services, has signed a $4 million contract with a leading defense contractor. Adtech will provide selected equipment that will be included in a High Performance/Low Density Simulation System for a division of the armed forces. After a long-standing business partnership of eight plus years, Adtech has established itself as a Tier 1 supplier to the defense contractor, providing products and services as part of a bundled offering.
The simulation system is a fully redundant server solution equipped with the latest Intel processors. Featuring both hot-swap capable power supplies and motherboards consisting of 48 cores per system, the solution maximizes up-time and eases installation and maintenance requirements. With a scalable maximum memory capacity and remote management capability, the solution provides a robust and reliable solution to meet the needs of military operations.
"We are excited about this opportunity to expand our expertise in the defense market and continue to strengthen our partnership with this customer," said Tim Shadburn, Chief Executive Officer, Adtech. "Our service offerings will provide a total solution, with the high level of quality and support that strategic military systems demand."
Adtech has experience working with several Fortune 100 defense contractors, having handled projects for every branch of the military. Adtech's development of both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions that currently exist in lab environments and ruggedized solutions for use in theater reflect the diversity of offerings for military applications and further strengthen its position in the defense market.
