US military secretaries tout S&T collaboration
Every week to two weeks, the US military secretaries are meeting for breakfast to discuss ways they can become more integrated and share insights into technology development on emerging fields like directed energy weapons.
In a rare appearance on 12 March, the three US military secretaries gathered at the Center for Strategic and International Studies to tout steps, such as these breakfasts, in their bid to overcoming multi-domain hurdles.
'The services are on the cusp of becoming integrated. Not just interdependent. Not just joint. But integrated in our operations,' US Air Force Secretary Heather Wilson told the audience.
