Spanish shares increase non-starter for Airbus
Manufacturer Airbus has officially confirmed that it will not offer the Spanish government an increased share in the company as a means to Madrid potentially reversing its decision to select Indra as the state's preferred industry partner for the Franco-German FCAS programme.
Airbus is actively engaged in discussing the initial decision, made in September, with Spain, in the hope that decision makers displace Indra, but should that eventually happen, an alternative solution to raising Madrid’s state share in Airbus beyond 4% will have to be found.
