France creates agency to manage digital projects
The French MoD announced in early December the creation of an agency to lead and manage digital projects in the armed forces. Called AND (Agence du Numérique de Défense in French), it is a major step in the project of digital modernisation of the MoD.
The AND is intended to simplify processes and enhance speed and efficiency, as a major step forward in the process of digital transformation and modernisation that the MoD began in 2018.
The agency will be the internal reference point for digital project management and it will ensure the control and dissemination of best practices
