MBDA makes Australia hub of Asia Pacific growth
MBDA has opened an office in Canberra, making Australia the centre of its targeted growth in the Asia Pacific region.
The company is looking at the potential of expanding its industrial activities in Australia. Through a network of industrial partners, MBDA plans to provide through-life solutions for products that are relevant to Australia’s current and future requirements, according to a statement released on 7 October.
‘We hope that the recent announcement regarding New Zealand’s selection of Sea Ceptor for the ANZAC frigate upgrade programme will raise interest within the Royal Australian Navy,’ a spokesperson from MBDA told Shephard.
