Farnborough 2012: Lockheed Martin continues international push

Lockheed Martin is continuing its push into the international market with a commitment to grow the non-US proportion of its business by at least 3% in the next several years.

Speaking at the Farnborough International Airshow, Marillyn Hewson, who is set to take over as the company's COO on 1 January 2013, said that the corporation wanted to increase its international sales to 20% of the total while retaining its revenues in the US.

'An important element of our growth strategy is our focus on increasing our international business from about 17% today to 20% over the next several years.
