Boeing Scotland Alliance to create 200 jobs by 2025
Boeing has signed a new agreement with Scottish Enterprise to create the ‘Boeing Scotland Alliance’. The arrangement will double Boeing’s Scottish supply chain, creating 200 new jobs by 2025.
Martin Donnelly, President of Boeing Europe said: ‘This follows our £100m joint investment in RAF facilities in Moray. We look forward to new partnerships to come.’
Boeing is set to establish a research and development team in Scotland to work on metallic component manufacturing as a basis for future aircraft parts. This will be one of the alliance’s first programmes, with an £11.8 million ($15.1 million) investment.
