Aero Precision has acquired Kellstrom Defense for an undisclosed price. Both companies have served a range of military aircraft platforms including the C130, UH60, F15 and the F18.
Darryl Mayhorn, President and CEO of Aero Precision said: ‘Through this acquisition, Aero Precision creates one of the largest privately owned military aftermarket distribution businesses in the industry including repair and overhaul, manufacturing, engineering services and logistics management.’
According to a 2 March statement, the merger offers the companies the opportunity to ‘streamline logistics management across the combined organisation to provide added value for our customers and partners’.
