100th Su-35 fighter produced in Russia
Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation has announced the production of the 100th Su-35 fighter. This was marked at a handover ceremony of the final batch of aircraft for the Russian Air and Space Force (RuASF) in 2018.
Four of the aircraft were delivered at the event and the number of fighters built at Sukhoi’s KnAAZ plant in Komosmosk-on-Amur is 102, this figure also includes 78 examples for the RuASF rolled out between 2011 and 2018, in addition to 24 more examples for the China’s People’s Liberation Army Air Force, delivered between 2016 and 2018.
The Su-35S is the most modern
