Zhuhai 2016: Z-10 out in force

The Z-10 attack helicopter first flittered into the Zhuhai Air Show in China in 2012 during a brief aerial performance. However, this year, in the 11th iteration of the show, the regular Z-10 was joined by a new Z-10K variant that was shown to the public for the first time.

The slightly modified Z-10K was first publicised in January, but it may have been operated by the 15th Airborne Corps of the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) since 2014. Development is thought to have commenced in 2011.
