Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services-North America (Vector),one of the world's leading independent providers of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services will once again be exhibiting at Heli-Expo (Booth # 4245).

In the face of a global economic downturn that has affected practically every segment of the aerospace market, Vector has experienced a year of growth in 2009.

Elements that contributed to Vector's business success in 2008 included major contract wins with Boeing (UK Chinook), as well as with various defence and security agencies in North America and abroad.

Vector also grew its product portfolio and global network or repair and overhaul and service centers in 2009, with expansion of its Pratt & Whitney Service network into Africa with a new Overhaul Facility in Johannesburg , acquisition and territorial expansion of new engine licenses (Designated Overhaul Facility for the Pratt & Whitney Canada for PW307A, PW308A and PW308C engines / Turbomeca Arriel 1 engine repair and overhaul license-territory expansion into South America and Arriel 2 repair and overhaul license award for North America) and FAA approval for Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) development and integration of the Bell 407 "glass cockpit," among many other achievements.

At Heli-Expo 2010, Vector's experienced and knowledgeable team of aerospace professionals will exhibit the company's diverse MRO portfolio that includes engines (Pratt & Whitney PT6T, Rolls Royce model 250, Arriel 1 and Arriel 2, General Electric T58 / CT58 and CT-7A / T700), dynamic components and airframes (comprehensive support for a variety of Sikorsky, Bell and Eurocopter models) and full-service avionics that demonstrate Vector's diverse capability to develop and support value-driven helicopter MRO solutions that extend the life of aircraft, improve reliability, and reduce operator cost.
