Japan V-22 deliveries rescheduled

The Japanese government - the first export customer of the Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey - will receive five of the aircraft when deliveries take place from the beginning of the final quarter next year into the first of 2019.

The timeline, provided to Shephard by the US State Department, is later than what had been previously publicised. Earlier this year, the US explained that first deliveries to Japan would take place during September/October 2017.

However, deliveries are now anticipated during the period of November 2018 through to March 2019.
