Quad A 2013: US Army gives financial perspective on future helicopter programmes

The head of the US Army’s PEO Aviation has offered insight into the force’s upcoming helicopter development programmes in light of pressure to reduce procurement spending. 

Maj Gen William Crosby told the AAAA Professional Forum and Exposition in Fort Worth on 12 April that the PEO has a budget of some $8 billion per year but expects this to even out in the future as pressure is placed on military spending.
