TAIGlobal keeping Black Hawks cool

TAIGlobal Group has been awarded a five year IDIQ contract to overhaul 750 vaneaxial fans used on the US Army’s Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, it announced on 21 March.

The company’s MRO accessory division has already commenced work on the fans and this servicing will continue into 2023.

Work is being undertaken at TAIGlobal’s facility in Jourdanton, Texas. This announcement compliments existing services being undertaken by the company with the US DoD.

In recent years, the company was awarded two contracts which included the overhaul of 250 landing gear struts for the UH-60 Black Hawk and 220 hydraulic pumps
