SGA2012: KAI touts for Surion sales
As Korean Aerospace Industries- Eurocopter (KAI- EC) prepares to deliver its first production level Surion KUH utility helicopter to the South Korean Army in June, KAI is looking to further the platform's footprint in the Asia-Pacific region.
Speaking to Shephard at the Singapore Airshow on 14 February, Jung-hun Shin, Export Manager for the Surion KUH, said that KAI was at the show to gain interest in the platform from customers in the region.
The company is developing a naval variant of the Surion along side the Korean Navy, and Shin said that this configuration in particular would appeal to customers
