Raytheon receives order for H-53 aircraft electronic modules

Raytheon has received a $9.31 million delivery order for H-53 Sea Stallion aircraft electronic modules.

The expected completion date of the contract is 7 March 2022, with work being carried out at Raytheon’s facilities in Texas. There are no exercise options attached to this agreement.

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation awarded the order, which is being funded from FY2020 Navy capital funds.

Variants of the H-53 rotary-wing aircraft have been in use by the USN since 1968. It has a maximum range of 868km and can transport up to 37 passengers.
