Boeing is confident it can capture a host of new orders for the CH-47F Chinook and the company has a number of active campaigns in the Middle East and the Pacific that offer promise.

Customers from those regions, specifically identified on 14 July by the manufacturer, during a pre-Farnborough virtual media briefing include Egypt, Indonesia, the Philippines, Qatar and the Republic of Korea (ROK).

Boeing already supplies Egypt with the AH-64D Apache Longbow and is set to upgrade 43 of the aircraft to the AH-64E Guardian standard following a $2.3 billion FMS announced in May.
