NH90 Sea Lion demo for German Navy
The NH90 Sea Lion has completed a series of demonstrations for the German Navy, Airbus Helicopters announced on 18 July.
The demonstrations covered search and rescue missions, including use of a rescue hoist; navy reconnaissance missions; and delivery of commando and special forces equipment, including an inflatable boat.
The German Navy has 18 NH90 Sea Lion aircraft on order, with the first deliveries scheduled for the end of 2019.
