Mexican Navy receives first MBe
The Mexican Navy became the inaugural customer for the AS565 MBe at Airbus Helicopters’ facilities in Marignane, France on 28 September.
The navy has been operating a variant of the Model, the MB, for well over a decade and they signed for ten MBe Panthers in 2014.
VAdm Jose Garcia Macedo the general co-ordinator of the Mexican naval aeronautics explained how the second aircraft is expected to be delivered in October, with the fourth and fifth following suit in November of this year.
