Germany to send WS-61 Westland Sea King helicopters to Ukraine
Germany has committed to sending Ukraine six of its 21 retiring WS-61 Westland Sea King multirole, amphibious helicopters.
MD Helicopter to continue Afghan MD 530F support
MD Helicopter has received a modification from the US Army for its work on a US foreign military sales contract.
Under the original contract, awarded in May 2017, MD Helicopter provides contractor logistics support for the Afghanistan Air Force’s MD 530F aircraft fleet.
Work was set to complete in May 2018, and will now run through to November.
MD Helicopter will continue providing performance based, contractor-managed operations to support system readiness. This includes material management, technical data management, repair, total asset visibility, engineering support, spares procurement, repair parts management, failure reporting and maintenance support.
