Longbow receives FCR order
Longbow will supply Longbow Fire Control Radar (FCR) hardware for the Apache AH-64E helicopter to the US Army under a $170.5 million contract.
The hardware will support US Army lots 7 and 8 plus three international customers: the UK, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
The company will supply Longbow FCR components, including mast mounted assemblies, radar electronics units and spares.
The Longbow FCR automatically searches, detects, locates, classifies and prioritises multiple moving or stationary targets on land or in the air, in clear or adverse weather, and in obscured battlefields.
Production will extend through April 2021.
