The OH-1, a light observation helicopter type belonging to the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF), has been cleared to begin flying again after a fleet-wide grounding that has lasted more than three years.

The OH-1, produced by Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) and entering military service in 2000, was allowed to fly again according to a 1 March declaration.
