Abu Dhabi based NorthStar Aviation has signed a collaboration agreement with CAE to jointly develop a training solution for the former’s NSA407 Multi-Role Helicopter (MRH).
NorthStar Aviation’s 407MRH is a development of the Bell 407GX airframe designed specifically for light attack, close air support, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. The 407MRH is targeted at markets that need an economical platform that can do multiple roles.
The UAE, which hosts the IDEX exhibition where the agreement was signed, operates armed 407 helicopters with a total of 30 on order.
