Airbus Helicopters has received an order from the Hungarian Ministry of Defence for 16 H225M helicopters equipped with the HForce weapon management system.

The company will also provide a training and support package to ensure the operational availability of the helicopters.

The helicopters will be equipped with advanced communication capabilities and will be used for transport, combat SAR and special operations missions. The H225M has advanced avionics and four axis autopilot, combined with a large cabin capable of carrying up to 28 troops, air-to-ground and air-to-surface armament and EW systems. It also has an all-weather capability supported by its night vision goggle compatibility.

The H225Ms have been ordered as a part of the Hungarian government’s Zrinyi 2026 armed forces modernisation effort.
