Heli-Expo 2010: Sikorsky making push for helicopter top spot

Sikorsky President and CEO, Jeff Pino says Sikorsky could be in a position to claim the top spot as the world's biggest helicopter company in the next few years.

Speaking at the Heli-Expo exhibition in Houston, Pino said that 2009 had been a strong year for the company despite the economic downturn having an effect on the rest of the industry. As a whole, Sikorsky turned over $6.3 billion in 2009, with $1.1 billion in its commercial helicopter business, Sikorsky Global Helicopters.
