HForce to test Thales laser guided rockets

Following on from successful ballistic development testing of its HForce weapon system on a H145M helicopter at Pápa Airbase in Hungary, Airbus Helicopters is to begin a similar operation in Sweden using the Thales FZ275 laser guided rockets.

The live firing tests are scheduled to take place in early December, before the core 1.0 qualification for the HForce system is expected. 

Providing background on why Hungary had been chosen for the original testing and Sweden subsequently, an Airbus spokesperson told Shephard that the locations were compatible with schedule requirements.
