Global ambitions for H135 military trainer

Airbus Helicopters is marketing the H135 light twin-engine helicopter as a training platform to the US, Spanish and Mexican armed forces, the company has told Shephard.

Talks are underway with the US Navy and air force, as well as the Mexican and Spanish navies, a company spokesperson said.

Any deals would see the helicopter being used as a basic and advanced training helicopter.

These countries would join a number of other customers who use the helicopter for basic and advanced training, including the German Army, the Japanese Navy, the Swiss Air Force, and the British and Australian armed forces.
