​Four FMS customers to receive AH-64E spare parts

Apache Guardian spare parts kits are destined for India, Morocco, Netherlands, and United Arab Emirates

India, Morocco, Netherlands, and United Arab Emirates (UAE) are the main beneficiaries of the latest contract modification in the AH-64E Apache Guardian programme.

Longbow Limited (a JV between Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman) was awarded a $32.15 million modification by US Army Contracting Command to provide spare parts kits for the four FMS customers.

Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida, with an estimated completion date of 30 April 2024.  

Under a separate contract, Boeing is already incorporating unique features into 11 AH-64Es for the Royal Netherlands Air Force.

According to Shephard Defence Insight, there are eight AH-64Es in service with the Indian Air Force out of 28 ordered. Morocco, the Netherlands and the UAE have 24, 28 and eight on order respectively.
