Farnborough 2016: New player enters race for UH-60As

Another player is looking to offer refurbished ex-US Army UH-60As on the civil utility and military market through a comprehensive cockpit modernisation programme.

Flight displays developer Rogerson Kratos showcased its new cockpit modernisation project at the Farnborough International Airshow 2016 (FIA 2016), which replicates the layout of the ‘Mike’ model Black Hawk, but with company-developed HD landscape displays.

Mike Miller, vice president of military programmes for Rogerson Kratos, said the company had already purchased four UH-60As by auction from the US government and was currently developing one as a representative prototype.
