Farnborough 2016: Boeing secures UK aircraft contracts

Boeing has confirmed mutiple deals with the UK including a $2.3 billion deal with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) for 50 AH-64E Apaches for the British Army, which are due to enter service in 2022.

The first UK helicopters are due off the US production line in early 2020, it was announced at the Farnborough International Airshow 2016 (FIA 2016).

The company also announced a £3 billion deal with the UK for nine Boeing P-8 Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft (MPA), which will include training and infrastructure.
