Farnborough 2012: Eurocopter expands order book

Eurocopter is on track to exceed €6 billion in orders over 2012, on the back of strong growth in the oil and gas market, and commercial sales in emerging regions, the company’s CEO has revealed.

Speaking to reporters at the Farnborough International Airshow, Lutz Bertling said the outlook for 2012 was that sales would increase by some 10-11% on 2011, which had an order intake of some €5.5 billion.
