FAB helis achieve flying milestone

Força Aérea Brasileira (FAB) has reached 150,000 flight hours across its fleet of Airbus Helicopters, the Brazilian air force has announced.

FAB operates 33 aircraft which comprise the H225M, AS332, AS350 among other aircraft. The flight hour milestone was reached in November of this year. The air force has been operating Airbus Helicopters models for the last 30 years.

The 11t military H225 rotorcraft is operated by the 1st and 8th Falcon Squadron based in Belém. The air force received its first Caracal in operational version, with its inflight refueling system, back in December 2015. The delivery was part
