Brazilian Army receives 33rd H225M
Helibras has delivered the 33rd H225M military helicopter for the Brazilian Army's H-XBR programme, the company announced on 9 October.
The H-XBR programme was signed in 2008 with the Ministry of Defence to supply 50 aircraft of the model to the armed forces of Brazil.
The aircraft will be based with the 1st Aviation Battalion in Taubaté, joining another ten H225M aircraft already delivered.
Richard Marelli, president of Helibras, said: ‘The H-XBR programme represents a qualitative leap in Brazil, because it brings development to the supply chain, technology transfer and skilled labour to the country.’
