Blue Eagles back in action

The British Army's Blue Eagles are back in action this summer.

The Middle Wallop-based helicopter display team will be appearing at eight shows during the 2009 airshow season, with the first taking place in June at RAF Cosford in Shropshire.

Despite news of their disbandment late last year, the team name has lived on, but instead of flying the four Gazelles and a single Lynx, the team is now made up of single examples of the Lynx and the Apache.
