Bell Textron awarded helo production support contract modification
Bell Textron has received a $27.5 million modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order from US Naval Air Systems Command, the US Department of Defense (DoD) announced on 18 December.
The modification provides engineering and logistics services and associated equipment and material in support of AH-1Z aircraft production, and AH-1W, UH-1Y and AH-1Z modifications and sustainment.
According to the DoD, work will be complete in March 2021.
