Bell awarded $102M contract to support UH-1Y and AH-1Z

Bell Helicopter Textron Inc, Hurst, Texas, is being awarded a three year cost type requirements contract in the amount of $102,372,611 for repair of items in support of the UH-1Y and AH-1Z aircraft. Work is to be completed by Dec. 2011. Work will be performed in Hurst, Texas (100 percent).

Funding is provided by APN6 and Navy Working Capital Funds (NWCF). Contract funds will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not awarded competitively. One company was solicited and one offer was received. The Naval Inventory Control Point is the contracting activity (N00383-09-D-003N).
