AUSA 2014: LM’s JAGM ready for EMD

Lockheed Martin has completed component qualification testing on the Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM) and is ready for the next stage of development.

Speaking at the AUSA Annual exhibition in Washington DC a spokesperson for the company said that the testing was finished in September and followed two self-funded ground test firings that were completed in February and June this year.

He said that the ‘end goal’ for Lockheed Martin is to have a non-developmental item ‘ready for the next phase’ and this was why they completed the two tests.
