Qinetiq has ordered four H125 single engine helicopters from Airbus Helicopters in a deal worth £15 million (US$18 million).

The aircraft will be used for the training of military and civil test pilots at the Empire Test Pilots’ School (ETPS) and are expected to be delivered over the course of 2018.

Gary Clark, head of UK civil business at Airbus Helicopters, explained to journalists at a pre-HAI briefing at the Airbus Helicopters facility in Marginane, France, the details of the fleet before deliveries start to the ETPS in Boscombe, UK. The school is managed alongside the UK’s MoD.
