Singapore MRTTs attain full capability, certified for F-15 tanking

The Republic of Singapore Air Force’s (RSAF) fleet of six Airbus A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transports (MRTTs) has attained FOC, with improvements and certifications set to change other MRTT operations.
Operated by 112 Squadron, the unit attained FOC within three years of delivery from 14 August 2018. It also retired four KC-135Rs. The RSAF MRTTs ordered in 2014 are the first of the so-called ‘new standard’ MRTT airframe, with improved flight control computers, structural, aerodynamic and military upgrades.
