NAVAIR orders F-35 flight test instrumentation
Lockheed Martin will develop and install flight test instrumentation systems for one F-35B Lot 14 aircraft and one F-35C Lot 14 aircraft for government testing, the US DoD announced on 7 August.
Work will be completed by June 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas (65%); Palmdale, California (32%); Grenaa, Denmark (2%); and Hoogerheide, Netherlands (1%).
US Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded the $77.4 million contract.
