MiG Aircraft Corporation secures G-force protection patent
Russia’s MiG Aircraft Corporation secured a patent for its new G-force protection system.
The new system would allow fighter pilots to monitor the G-force without relying on repeatedly viewing the dashboard indicator of an aircraft by exerting 1-2 G on a stick.
Ilya Tarasenko, CEO of MiG, said: ‘Increase of automation, comfort and safety of use are our priority goals during development of future tech. The new intellectual automatic critical G-force protection system is already being introduced to the modern planes.’
TASS reported that MiG-29M/M2 and MiG-35 aircraft will be fitted with the company’s new protection system.
