Lockheed to provide radar processor retrofits for Advanced Hawkeye
US Naval Air Systems Command has awarded Lockheed Martin a firm-fixed-price order worth $22.43 million, to procure 12 retrofit advanced radar processor systems for Northrop Grumman E-2D Advanced Hawkeye AEW&C aircraft.
Work will be performed in Liverpool, New York (54%) and Andover, Massachusetts (46%), for completion by November 2023.
Funding for the order comes from the FY2019 and FY2020 USN budgets.
In April 2020, Northrop Grumman secured a $404 million contract modification from Naval Air Systems Command for procurement of two new E-2Ds.
