Boeing awarded contract modification for KC-46 services
Boeing has been awarded a contract modification worth a maximum $36.7 million, to provide engineering, manufacturing and development services for the KC-46 Pegasus tanker aircraft operated by the USAF.
Under the contract modification, the Boeing hardware system integration lab which will carry out verification and ground testing for the KC-46’s boom telescope actuator redesign.
All work funded by the contract is expected to take place in Seattle, Washington. The KC-46 Programme Office at Wright-Patterson AB in Ohio is overseeing the contract’s implementation.
This follows news that Israel has requested eight KC-46 aircraft from the US via FMS.
