Kongsberg receives Protector order
Kongsberg has announced that it has received an order from the Protector weapon control system from General Dynamics Land Systems. The company made the announcement in a 29 February 2012 statement.
The Protector system is for the US Army’s Stryker armoured personnel carriers. The Protector weapon control system protects military troops by allowing the vehicle’s weapons to be operated from a protected position inside the vehicle.
According to the company the order is valued at MNOK 108. No other details on the sale were announced.
